Cambodia ICT Camp 2024

Open Development Cambodia (ODC) and its partners are organizing three Cambodia ICT Camp 2024 from 5-7 December 2024 in Siem Reap province. This three-day event will be the third Cambodia ICT Camp to be held. The inaugural camp, born from the Mekong ICT Camp 2017 held in Siem Reap, was successfully held in 2018, followed by a second camp in 2022.

The Cambodia ICT Camp 2024 is an interactive event featuring sharing sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on activities led by national and international experts in ICT, cybersecurity, cybercrime, digital communications, artificial intelligence (AI), journalism, and digital rights.

The camp will bring together participants from diverse but interconnected fields, including media and journalism, civil society organizations, digital rights advocacy groups, legal professionals, academia, the private sector, and university students. They will have the opportunity to engage in in-depth sharing of knowledge by the experts, get to experience the real-life applications of technologies, and connect with other participants.

This discussion will share about teamwork, use of online tools, as well as which tools we should choose to work together online that are appropriate for your job. Monthly Tech Salon invites speakers from civil society organizations and experts to share experiences related to the use of institutional technology to learn from each other and enhance the use of ICT for social work. The Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy 2025 (APIGA)

APIGA aims to develop youth leaders’ understanding of the Internet and its ecosystem. It also aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to participate in Internet policy making through developing a strong foundation in the following: The concept of Internet governance, and the multistakeholder model of policymaking; Current global Internet governance issues, and applying these issues at the local and regional levels; The confidence to speak up in regional and international fora.
