Cambodia ICT Camp 2024

Open Development Cambodia (ODC) and its partners are organizing three Cambodia ICT Camp 2024 from 5-7 December 2024 in Siem Reap province. This three-day event will be the third Cambodia ICT Camp to be held. The inaugural camp, born from the Mekong ICT Camp 2017 held in Siem Reap, was successfully held in 2018, followed by a second camp in 2022.

The Cambodia ICT Camp 2024 is an interactive event featuring sharing sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on activities led by national and international experts in ICT, cybersecurity, cybercrime, digital communications, artificial intelligence (AI), journalism, and digital rights.

The camp will bring together participants from diverse but interconnected fields, including media and journalism, civil society organizations, digital rights advocacy groups, legal professionals, academia, the private sector, and university students. They will have the opportunity to engage in in-depth sharing of knowledge by the experts, get to experience the real-life applications of technologies, and connect with other participants.

Technical Mapping Meet-up in May 2026

On 07 May 2026, Open Development Cambodia issued an announcement on the Technical Mapping Meet-Up in May 2026. ODC is excited to host the Technical Mapping Meet-up, taking place on Friday, 22 May 2026, in Phnom Penh (TBC) from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Interested participants can register through this link. 

Cambodia ICT Camp 2026

Cambodia ICT Camp is a dynamic and participatory camp organized bi-annually by Open Development Cambodia (ODC) and its partners since 2018. The first edition of Cambodia ICT Camp organized in 2018 was born from the Mekong ICT Camp 2017 held in Siem Reap. It was followed by a second Camp in 2022 and a third in 2024. The fourth edition of Cambodia ICT Camp will return on 19-20 September 2026. Building on the success of the previous editions, the camp will once again become a collaborative platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation in areas such as open data, Internet governance, cybersecurity, and AI among the others.

2025 Geo for Good Summit Singapore

The Geo for Good Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. By attending the Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and share about the latest science and technical advances in sustainability, delve into Google’s supporting geospatial solutions, and hack together. Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses How to Attend: Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world.
