APrIGF 2023 – BRISBANE

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) is one of the key regional initiatives on Internet governance. By adopting the multi-stakeholder approach as its core principle, APrIGF serves as a platform for discussion exchange and collaboration at a regional level and also where possible to aggregate national IGF discussions to ultimately advance the Internet governance development in the Asia Pacific region. Cybersecurity Youth Forum

The Cybersecurity Resilience Forum is organized to bring together experts in the technology sector, with representatives from ministries, government agencies, the private sector, and relevant stakeholders, to disseminate cybersecurity advice, share methods to prevent, manage, and respond to cybersecurity threats, and create a safer society for Cambodia. In particular, the forum will provide participants with the opportunity to gain experience on career choices, job opportunities, the cybersecurity revolution, and the future of cybersecurity in Cambodia, the region, and the world. 9th International Conference: Shrinking Civic Space in Asia

Asia Centre’s 9th Annual International Conference will revolve around stories of resistance and pushback in defense of civic space in Asia. This topic is pressing and timely given the widespread contraction of civic spaces in the region, which poses a threat to the future of democratic societies. Registration is open to all presenters and participants from academic institutions, media outlets and journalist associations, businesses, national and regional civil society organizations, international NGOs, political parties, parliaments, government agencies, and intergovernmental organizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking. Researchers and practitioners wishing to present papers or share their experiences are invited to submit a title and abstract of 300–340 words in English, together with a biographical paragraph of 100 words, here. For those submitting papers, full papers should be 5,000 words (Please refer to the Style Sheet Guidelines).
