The conference intends to discuss the history of economic thought, economic research and development in Southeast Asia.
This conference aims to provide an opportunity to PhD students, young scholars, and researchers in the field of economics and social science to share their research and exchange knowledge in different study agendas and backgrounds, as well as to receive feedback on their work from senior researchers and practitioners.

Open Data Day 2024
Open Development Cambodia Organization (ODC), in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF) will host the Open Data Day (ODD) on 2 March 2024, focusing on “Open Data for Sustainable and Inclusive Development for All.” The ODD 2024 will provide a safe space for marginalized and vulnerable groups to express their concerns, share their experiences, and be exposed to talk on open data and digital development in Cambodia. Various activities, including keynote speeches, presentations from open data experts, and hackathons, can enlighten marginalized and vulnerable groups\' knowledge of open data and sustainable development in Cambodia. The event is funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Asia Foundation\'s Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia Program. Online Learning Platform Launching
This workshop will gather around 45 people from a variety of organizations with experience in topics related to education, environmental and natural resources, gender, journalism, and legal aids, including CSS cluster members, CSOs/CBOs, INGOs, researchers, indigenous youth, and women groups. Participants from 10 to 15 people in the target provinces will be invited. Objectives of the workshop To officially introduce the Learning Platform and how it was developed, To gather user feedback on the look and functionality and suggestions from all key stakeholders, To call for increased collaboration on data and resource sharing. About the organizer: Open Development Cambodia (ODC), with financial support from USAID Cambodia through Family Health International (FHI 360) for the Civil Society Support (CSS) Project, has developed a new Learning Platform that serves as a free one-stop-shop knowledge-sharing portal, aggregating best practices, and lessons learned by the cluster members of the Civil Society Support (CSS) project.
The Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy 2025 (APIGA)
APIGA aims to develop youth leaders’ understanding of the Internet and its ecosystem. It also aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to participate in Internet policy making through developing a strong foundation in the following: The concept of Internet governance, and the multistakeholder model of policymaking; Current global Internet governance issues, and applying these issues at the local and regional levels; The confidence to speak up in regional and international fora.
