Technical Mapping Meet-up in May 2026

The Mini Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. Cost: Free. In-person participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. Timeline May 14: Application opens June 7: Application deadline June 28: Applicants will receive email notification of their application decision. We will not be able to consider applicants that do not give detailed answers to open-ended questions or cannot provide supporting evidence of their projects and work (links to webpages, papers, news articles, etc.). For its 13th edition, Access Now will host RightsCon 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan and online from Monday, February 24 to Thursday, February 27, marking our first summit in East Asia and a return to the Asia Pacific region after a decade. Each year, RightsCon convenes business leaders, policy makers, general counsels, government representatives, technologists, academics, journalists, and human rights advocates from around the world to tackle pressing issues at the intersection of human rights and technology.  In engaging fireside chats, hands-on workshops, strategic roundtables, private meetings, and a lively exhibition space, RightsCon is where a global movement comes together to build strategies and drive forward change toward a more free, open, and connected digital world.

ASEAN-China Youth Exchange Camp is a collaborative programme between the ASEAN Foundation and the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN through the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund. It aims to promote the significance and understanding of ASEAN-China relations. During the implementation, ASEAN Foundation will work with Xiamen University as the appointed local organiser.
