Empowering Communities: Connectivity Initiatives for Sustainable Development in the Asia-Pacific

The Geo for Good Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. By attending the Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and share about the latest science and technical advances in sustainability, delve into Google’s supporting geospatial solutions, and hack together. Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses How to Attend: Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. In late 2025, the Government of Spain will host the 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. The Summit will bring together more than 2,000 high-level representatives of governments, civil society leaders, and policy-makers from around the world to exchange experiences, best practices, and progress on open government initiatives and implementation on key issues.
