The Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using (or want to learn to use) our mapping tools (such as Google Earth, Earth Engine, Environmental Insights Explorer, and My Maps) for planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. By attending the Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into learning our mapping technologies, hear the latest updates, and learn how others in the community are using these technologies for impact. Geo for Good Mini Summit Dublin
The Mini Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. Cost: Free. In-person participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. Timeline May 14: Application opens June 7: Application deadline June 28: Applicants will receive email notification of their application decision. IDEA SPRINT II
The Idea Sprint program is a three-day co-design workshop for civil society organizations and changemakers-at-large interested in developing innovative approaches and solutions to address civil society challenges. This is a full-day, 3-day participatory program. You will be assigned to a team of 5-7, based on your indicated interests and expertises, to work on the challenge you choose. You will work as a team on this challenge throughout the program.
