The Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using (or want to learn to use) our mapping tools (such as Google Earth, Earth Engine, Environmental Insights Explorer, and My Maps) for planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. By attending the Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into learning our mapping technologies, hear the latest updates, and learn how others in the community are using these technologies for impact.
The application deadline to attend the summit in person has already passed. If you already submitted an application to attend, you will be notified of your application decision by June 28, 2023.

ICANN81 Annual General Meeting, Istanbul, Türkiye
ICANN wants to hear from regional university students who are interested in the future of the Internet and participating in the ICANN81 Annual General Meeting. ICANN81 is scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, from 9 to 14 November 2024. If ICANN81 is held as a virtual meeting, all NextGen@ICANN program activities will be conducted online. If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student between the ages of 18 to 30 and living and studying in the Asia Pacific region, you may be eligible for the NextGen@ICANN program. The NextGen@ICANN program application window will remain open until 31 May 2024. Successful candidates will be announced on 12 July 2024 on the ICANN website. Geo for Good Mini Summit São Paulo
The Mini Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. Cost: Free. In-person participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. Timeline May 14: Application opens June 7: Application deadline June 28: Applicants will receive email notification of their application decision.
