Geo for Good Mini Summit Dublin
The Mini Summit is intended for nonprofit, academic, public sector, private sector, and Indigenous peoples and local communities who are using Google Earth Engine and other geospatial tools for planetary sustainability and human resilience. Because space is limited at the event venue, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world. Cost: Free. In-person participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. ICANN81 Annual General Meeting, Istanbul, Türkiye
ICANN wants to hear from regional university students who are interested in the future of the Internet and participating in the ICANN81 Annual General Meeting. ICANN81 is scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, from 9 to 14 November 2024. If ICANN81 is held as a virtual meeting, all NextGen@ICANN program activities will be conducted online. If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student between the ages of 18 to 30 and living and studying in the Asia Pacific region, you may be eligible for the NextGen@ICANN program. The NextGen@ICANN program application window will remain open until 31 May 2024. Successful candidates will be announced on 12 July 2024 on the ICANN website. Convention #4: Gender Inclusive
Banteay Srei (BS) is pleased to invite cluster members of the Civil Society Support (CSS) project to the upcoming cluster convention meeting on gender inclusive. Both national and sub-national level participants from Battambang and Siem Reap are also invited. Objectives: To follow up on the discussion of the proposed activities from the last cluster meeting by Banteay Srei and update how the progress of each activity; To share the Term of Reference of cluster members to the NGO network; To introduce the concept of IDEASPRIN and its opportunities.
